The Electronic Freedom Foundation (EFF) recently held a panel discussion at Carnegie-Mellon exploring how the technical design of computer systems impacts free speech, privacy, property ownership, and creative thought.

Princeton’s  Ed Felten, director of the Center for Information Technology Policy, joined Dave Farber, Lorrie Cranor, John Buckman, and Cindy Cohn — all, according to Cory Doctorow of Boingboing, "heavy hitters in their own right, and dynamite together" making for "one of the more thoughtful and thought-provoking hours you could spend today."
